Totek Lake
5 Acres of Alaska
Build your own hunting lodge, or just a place to escape to.
This parcel is located very close to the lake. You have a legal right of way to the property on the north and east side. The late fall, winter, and early spring brings out a wonderful view of the norhern lights and an array of different colors that engulf the star filled sky.
This 5 acre parcel is located 30 miles west of Nenana, AK, and 70 miles west of Fairbanks, AK.
The corners of the lot are marked with ribbons and surveyed by the Department of Natural Resouces. Each corner has a rebar with a mushroom head with the lot numbers stamped on them.
This lot borders a state forest to the east.
The gps coordinates for the corners of the property are:
NW corner 64.3587 degrees, -149.9925
degrees
NE corner 64.3587 degrees, -149.9892 degrees
SW corner 64.3575 degrees, -149.9915 degrees
SE corner 64.3573 degrees, -149.989 degrees
Mt. McKinnley is the highest point in North America and can be seen easily on a clear day. The majority of the property is covered with birch, aspen, spruce, oak, willow and many other types of native vegetation. This is pristine untouched wilderness that is great hunting territory and would make a perfect vacation get away. There are plenty of moose and bear tracks along the lake shore. The area is prime for trapping wolves, wolverine, coyotes, mink, beaver, etc. I have not fished the lake so I can't comment on the fishing. The animal tracks in the pictures are from the Totek lake shore. There are moose tracks everywhere.
There is a pedestrian easement on the south side of the property that takes you directly to the lake; it is clearly marked on the plot map that you will get with your package. You have two legal right of ways on the north and south side of the lot for a short walk to the lake.
The scenery is beautiful. Access in the summer is by float plane, in the winter access is by plane with skiis, or by snowmobile. There is no road to drive to the property from a nearby town. There are no neighbors to bother you.
We have many phone numbers and other information for float planes, water systems, material hauling planes, and a helicopter for moving materials. The water situation is good and there are a few easy and inexpensive ways to obtain water for your cabin. We can set you up with stores that sell the equipment and know how to obtain water.
Look this up on google earth, you can get a real good picture of the lake and surrounding area.
We have a large package that comes with the sale which includes large maps from the DNR of the subdivision and surrounding area, float plane pilots that service the area, visitor information, and hunting and fishing packages.
